A reminder from the Book and the Sunnah
إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَلَمْ يَخْشَ إِلَّا اللَّهَ
The mosques of Allah are maintained only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish prayer, give zakah, and fear none but Allah.
SURAH AT-TAWBAH 9:18
مَنْ بَنَى لِلَّهِ مَسْجِدًا بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ مِثْلَهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ
Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah builds for him one like it in Paradise.
PROPHET MUHAMMAD ﷺ — BUKHARI & MUSLIM
مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنبَتَتْ سَبْعَ سَنَابِلَ فِي كُلِّ سُنبُلَةٍ مِّائَةُ حَبَّةٍ
Those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah are like a grain that sprouts seven ears, and in every ear a hundred grains.
SURAH AL-BAQARAH 2:261
مَا نَقَصَتْ صَدَقَةٌ مِنْ مَالٍ
Charity does not decrease wealth.
